The Academy

 
 
After all the travel I was doing earlier this summer it feels nice to be home. Other than occasional day or weekend trips to San Diego to teach classes I plan to be in the Los Angeles area for the next couple months. 


Even while home my schedule is anything but boring. Between photoshoots, sessions and adventuring I seem to always be happily busy.


Up next, I'm starting prep work for my 1001 intensive workshop in November and heading out on some of the great tasting tours around LA  to learn more about this wonderful city I call home.


Great food, great play, I love my life.

For those of us used to the lovely Southern California sun these "June Gloom" days which unfortunately carry through into July can often be a serious mood crasher.

Depending on the type of session you're into, the endorphin release you find during session can give you back the pep in your step for days during this gloomy weather.

When the hum-drums hit, tickling sessions especially have been known to receive the greatest results with highs being felt as long as five days later.

Try thinking outside the box next time the weather has you down.

What an adventure! 


Catching up with friends, clients and enjoying old stomping grounds. From San Francisco to Portland and Seattle to the smaller towns in Eastern Washington, thank you for welcoming me with open arms!


No matter where I go, or how much fun I've had, there is something sacred to returning home and a delicious joy to awaking in one's own bed. 


I must say, I was touched by the barrage of voice mails that greeted me this morning.... Thank you, I missed you all as well and I am looking forward to seeing you also. 


Enough chit-chat for now, its time for me to get outside an enjoy this gorgeous day!
